krazy mustang video
I guess he forgot the lug nuts?
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/f...95015df66a.htm or perhaps it really was the broken axle(s)? fixed it |
RE: krazy mustang video
Good save on the guy in the right lane. I wonder if he had been running a full floating axle if it would have done that...
|
RE: krazy mustang video
seroius, no doubt. immagine if the guy in the right hand would have been running just a tad bit faster that day...

RE: krazy mustang video
ive seen cars at the track lose tires/wheels on quite a few occassions. the more common case is when the car sheers the studs off...and a full floating axle wouldnt help hide the fact that someone has a ton of torque and cheap axles.

RE: krazy mustang video
Slightly funny... but good to see a Mustang wreck.
|
RE: krazy mustang video
Yeah I know what you mean bad strat but with a full floater he would have just busted the axle and his wheels would have stayed on. I don't get how people dump tons of money into the motor and transmission then pretty much leave the axles un touched.

RE: krazy mustang video
if that car is heavily built, even good axles will break...but youre right, most people dont upgrade the rear diff. and axles.
|
RE: krazy mustang video
Wow that sucks. But you guys are right, most people dont mess with the rear diff and the axles. I dont think they do it because its a lot of math involved in it. You have to worry about little or too much backlash if you did a gear swap. And the driveshaft angle being very important as well. Its just a little overwhelming.
