All I know is, I can wait to see them run one w/ the headlight decals, and so forth... just think, this is the closest thing we have to a spy shot of the production Charger. Pretty sad!

Someone on PUTC suggested that maybe they were testing in camo, and that isn't the real nose cause it doesn't resemble any other race car, or any of the "artist renderings" of the production version.......Like they would conduct a test with the car being in another configuration than it would be come February 2005 in Daytona.

 

I've been wondering if the real Charger will have its grille below the headlights, like the '99 concept and Viper, not like the popular renderings. Nascar race cars always had their headlight decals and grilles in the same loccations as their production counterparts for easy brand identification. (Although the 2004 "Dodge R/T's" looked like the Stratus because that was the closest 2004 production car Dodge had!

I'm also wondering why the front and rear clips in the photos are semi-gloss black while the middle of the car is gloss black - unless that's the result of putting the new ends on an older test car.
