Nope, no way in hell a Neon SXT will keep up with a corvette. Not to mention if he was driving a SXT, he would of never hit 145, the speed limiter stops you at 122 from what I've heard.

I too noticed that by his other posts, and there is no way in hell an SXT beat a Vette, especially on the top end.

I wonder if the Vette was being towed. That would explain the neon able to keep up with the Vette

LoL. You guys are funny. Sorry for the delay in reply and the misinterpretation. I oringinally posted this in the SRT-4 forum and then it got moved here. I sold the SXT and got an SRT-4. That's the car I was racing the vette with. LoL!! Yeah about the race, I have to say I was a bit surprised that we were even but at the same time I wasn't either. Then when I got home I looked up the specs online for that car and the quarter mile time is 13.5 for the specific model. After seeing that it made sense to me. I'd like to race a Z06 and see how bad I get beat.

Don't Z06's run in the low 12's stock or lower? A stock SRT4 should get toasted by one of those.

That's what they do alright. The Z06 would own an SRT-4 on the top end as well, it has both the power and the aerodynamics advantage.

yah Z06 runs 12.7. i didn't race a Z06, it was just a standard 350hp vette which runs 13.6.
