Just had my first race with my exhaust on my truck. rolled up to the line and reved up next to a lowered 1500 gmc. He looked over , but didnt act like he was going to do anything so i watched for him to go. he took off ahead of me and i hear him in the throttle allllll the way and i punched it. put 2 cars on him in no less then 30 yards so i let off seeing as he wasnt worth the gas. i figured he would have beaten me becaue i am running the 4.7L dodge and chevy and gmc's have more HP and Torque.

 

you would be surprised. i pull up to hemi quad cabs . they look over and laugh until the light turns green and it is no laughing matter anymore. 5-6 trucks lenghts later i finnaly let off so they can pass. aftermarket cams and a pcm flash do wonders for they little 4.7. and because of the weight to hrspwr. ratio they are quick little trucks.

...I like daks...I'd like to line up with one on the street jus to see how we do...I raced one on an 1/8th mile track, beat him by a truck length....only to find out later he sprayed twice during that race...he thot I was sprayin too, I popped the hood and said all motor brutha... how fas have daks run in a 1/4 na?..I run 13.96 an my bud runs 13.29 in his hemi na qc

 

Well, there is much debate as to which is quicker between 4.7 Daks and the RT's, which are the two quickest Dakotas, but single-cab RT's are capable of 14.7ish w/ a good driver.
