Flyin Ryan Newman is on the pole at Martinsville for Sundays race. He was one of 17 drivers to break the old track record.

I'd prefer the short track over a restrictor plate race any day. Nascar doesn't like short tracks becuase of the limited seating. It's a shame NASCAR is getting away from what made it so exciting in the beginning.
