Im supposed to race a SRT-10 ram this weekend and he has me a little nervous

he has told people that he runs low 12s WITHOUT nitrous and that his only mods are "intake and exhaust". he also has a 150 shot but has never used it at the track.

he does not go into detail about his intake and exhaust but lets assume its full exhaust and full intake (manifold and everything)

i think this is 100% BS but don't know for sure so i joined to ask yall what you think he will run.

im thinking upper 12s without the spray and low 12s with the 150 shot.

 

reg cab or quad cab? if its a quad cab, low 12s seems a bit fast to me.

the reg cabs are much quicker than their stock times will show...they are traction limited. if he has a reg cab with intake and exhaust work, i dont see why low 12s isnt reasonable, especially if he shows up with different tire. not to mention, with a 150 shot, its making over 650hp....what is your best with the bottle now?

i run 12.3s with a 75 shot, im jetting up to 100 for the race (if it ever happens, hes hard to get into contact with)

 

Bone stock, the QC SRT-10's run mid 13's with a good launch, the RC SRT-10's run high 12's-very low 13's with a good driver. Even if he is a good enough driver to run a 12.8-12.9 stock, intake andcat-backexhaust aloneis not going to get a RC SRT-10 in the low 12's. Especially since most CAI's out there for the SRT-10 show little to no gain over the stock intake system. He's gonna need to be running more mods than that to hit low 12's. This is all assuming he's running the stock 22's with the P Zero's. Common bolt-on's and a 150 shot he's probablygonna be in the 11's though, without slicks.
