Default Evernham Motorsports NEW Sponser!

Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Takes the Green Flag with Evernham Motorsports:

In their continued quest for high performance, aftermarket auto parts giant Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper has inked its first NASCAR deal as associate sponsor of Evernham Motorsports and includes primary status on the No. 91 Dodge in the 2005 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series and on the No. 79 Dodge in the NASCAR Busch Series. Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper is the first aftermarket auto parts distribution network to partner with Evernham Motorsports.

“The name Evernham in the racing world is synonymous with integrity, commitment and success. Since 1974, Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper parts stores and service centers have embraced those same values, thus creating the foundation for a very strong partnership,” said Richard Morgan, president and CEO of Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper’s parent company.

Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper’s partnership with Evernham Motorsports is a multi-faceted marketing program. The automotive aftermarket brands take the lead with the primary sponsorship of the No. 91 Dodge in 2005 NASCAR Nextel Cup races at Michigan International Speedway on August 25, 2005, and Texas Motor Speedway International on November 6, 2005. Veteran racer and former NASCAR Nextel Cup Champion Bill Elliott will drive the No. 91 Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper Dodge.

“Bill’s friendly and humble personality resonates with our customers and fans of all ages,” said Morgan. Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper will be an associate sponsor of the No. 91 Dodge for all other races in 2005 and will receive branding on Elliott’s uniform, team haulers and pit equipment.

Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper’s partnership with Evernham Motorsports also includes primary sponsorship of the No. 79 Dodge. In the 2005 NASCAR Busch Series, hot, young rookie Kasey Kahne will drive the No. 79 Dodge at New Hampshire International Speedway on July 16, 2005 and teammate and NEXTEL Chase contender, Jeremy Mayfield, will take the wheel at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on October 14, 2005.

Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper’s multi-year sponsorship of Evernham Motorsports will build their brand across a broad audience whose love affair with cars starts in their own garage and culminates with high performance racing. NASCAR brand research shows that NASCAR fans are more likely to have more than one vehicle. NASCAR fans are also more likely to buy used vehicles, which are typically older and require additional maintenance and auto parts.

“Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper is one of the largest auto parts distribution and marketing organizations in the world – they reach auto enthusiasts and race fans everywhere, from driveway mechanics to automotive engineers, and from grass roots racing to the highest levels of competition. They’re an ideal partner for Evernham Motorsports because we both pride ourselves on our proven performance and our dedication to quality and innovation,” said Ray Evernham, president and CEO of Evernham Motorsports.

Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper’s association with Evernham also will be used in key customer outreach efforts, retail marketing efforts and internal promotions. The affiliation will compliment Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper’s existing partnership with NASCAR and its new NASCAR Performance Network program, a branding and locator platform associating Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper’s parts stores or service centers with NASCAR’s 75 million fans.

“Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper represents hard-working automotive parts and service professionals who take pride in getting the job done right, and Ray Evernham and his team embody this attitude. Two things come from this attitude: success and championships,” said Morgan.
