In qualifing McDowell #00 just flipped a bout 4 times and walked away. The front and rear of the car was unrecognizable. The cabin though was in good shape. Thank god for the COT and safer barriers or we would be missing another member of the nascar family

 

I saw that on espn, and all i could say was DAMN!! He hit HARRRDD. It really does speak to the cot, rediculously safe. I can't imagine what that crash would have been like just 5 or so years ago. Props to the guy for getting out under is own power.
