Honda racing officials haven't said anything officially about a NASCAR effort, but the company's debut of a pickup truck at last week's Detroit auto show has sparked considerable interest. The Honda Ridgeline truck will be for sale this spring, as a 2006 model, with the company expecting to sell about 50,000 this year. The pickup will be built at Honda's plant in Ontario, Canada, and will have a 3.5-liter V-6 engine. NASCAR's new common-template rules would make it easy for Honda to put the machine in NASCAR's trucks series, if Honda comes up with a NASCAR-legal V-8.
Why is it that Japanesse trucks are so butt ugly? I suppose NASCAR will allow Honda to create a v-8 like they did Toyota. If this crap keep occurring, Dodge should be allowed to run the Hemi.
what ever happend to the all american sport? the next thing you know there going to try to put in these new hybrids that everybodys making and instead of using chevy ford and dodge there going to use honda toyota and nissan[:'(] What is world coming to.
i thought the motors they used in nascar were all standardized? so you mean dodge is running a 4.7 v8 in their trucks? i think i really misunderstood something...
