thats a great shot...last time i saw him run, he shook the tires every time...and babied it through at like 9.00 @ 160 or something...its amazing...granted, it IS an NHRA funny car motor, but still..that car is VERY well put together...

 

He made at least two good passes when I saw him in Vegas. It was impressive!

Isn't it discouraging when these guys launch, shake the tires, back out of it, coast most of the way down the track and still run something like a 10 at 80 or 90 mph?

 

all i can do is shake my head when that happens...they roll through at like 80 mph, and 2.5 second faster than my car, and while my car is no NHRA pro stock car, mid 12s is faster than alot of people at the track...

the last time i saw dye run, it was on an awful surface, and he was on and off, on and off, the whole 1/4, and still pushed like an 8 something...

 

Are they running KOS this year? It will be part of the Chrysler Classic Events, right?

we hadnt planned on running the CC series this year...i was gonna run points at PRP, but it look as though the original hole-shot king will be gettign alot of seat time this season...considering the location situation...

im not sure if there will be a KOS class this year..it seems to come and go, which i dont understand..i think its a cool class.

 

If things work out there, I don't see why you don't take the car up there. It's not like you wouldn't have a truck if you have the RC.

 

well, room to store it is an issue, and i dont actually own the trailer. plus, i woudlnt feel right taking the car away from him. plans are being made to still race...but i think that he wants seat time...he ran at the end of last season, and i either ran the sebring, or just watched...
