Bill Elliott’s Daytona track record is 210.364. Last year, Greg Biffle sat on the pole with a speed of 188.387. Did you know if those two cars were in the same race, Elliott would go by Biffle every 8.57 laps? In a 500-lap race Biffle would get lapped 23 times. And you thought some of the backmarkers were slow.
