I know this will rub people the wrong way, buy any money going into this at this point in time is complete BS! The goverenment loaned our tax dollars to them to stay afloat, not to give money to guys who already have money so they can play race car!

The big team owners shouldnt need factory backing at this point. Guys like Jack Roush make more than enough money to not need to bother Ford for more in the name of R&D.

I am all for the loan package and I am glad Bush over-ruled the traitorous McConnell and Corker.I think common sense should tell Chrysler to get the *!@# out of racing.The private jet fiasco was a major blunder and you can bet,as soon as Nascar starts again,the news media will have a field day with the "Bush Bailout Money Used For Racing" stories the media will use to further hurt Chrysler.No Chevy or Toyota fan ever bought a Dodge because someone in a Dodge won a race.No Nascar fan ever watched a race on tv and said,"You know Dodge races in Nascar,I think I'll buy a Charger".The marketing value is equivalant to "preaching to the choir".It is a HUGE waste of resources.
