Default Superchips

I have a 2002 1500, 5.9L. I've been looking at that Superchips and Hypertech computers. Do they help? Do you have to run 91+ octane to see a difference? Any experience out there?

Thanks. I am pretty leary of those things but what I saw from Superchips, they offer a 30-day guarantee. I just hate putting out $400 and then fighting for my money back if it does nothing or only works if I spend another 10 or 20 cents a gallon for the "right" gas.
