I drive an automatic. I was behind a Solara at a light where the road in front of us is about a quarter mile or longer. He takes off hard, so I punch it. We leave all the other cars rather quickly.(Its a four lane road) We're in the fast lane, I pull beside him and pass him, but didn't overtake him, traffic was at the next light. I go behind him, I had to build up speed though. We change lanes, I was still pulling on him fast even with his tremendous head start, but I let off the gas. We were at about 100 and a cop could have been coming off of the exit ramp to my right, so I let off the gas. I'm not a reckless driver, I pick my spots.

 

Nice. I raced a Toyota of some sort the other week. Not even close. They came from behind, I gave them the advantage, they got their front door to my bumper before I left them. They didn't catch back up either, so they must have been trying. First win in a while, so it made me feel good.

 

lucky it wasnt a TRD solara.

 

yeah...i think the TURD solara has extra big wheels, and a wing...and when combined with the TURD decal, it adds an extra 400hp...

 

I thought TRD was the "ultimate" power in the universe.

there was 2 trd solars the 1st one is just the body kit with the rims and the 2nd was the v6 supercharged

 

i have never seen this TURD solara on the streets or at the track..and i have spent ALOT of time at the track over the last few years...and have attended several "hot import nights" and "fast and the furious nights"...never seen a blown TURD solara...ive seen a blown TURD tacoma...but not the solara...

i kno this is kinda off topic but i saw a "TYPE R" sticker on a chevy silverado friday[&:]

 

i assure you there made a superchraged trd solara. there white with the 17 inch trd rims and 5 speed. i belive there even one in the last issue of turbo/ssc or one of those mags
