would there be any trouble in bolting up a 97 Magnum in a 1989 Ram to the four speed tranny, can the intakes swap, exhaust manifold from the older line up with the Magnum, thanks

I believe the manis will line up with a minimum of fabbing (opening the stud holes, IIRC).

The intakes should be able to swap, as I'm running an edelbrock air gap 7977 manifold that had fuel injector bungs welded into it. It was originally built for the LA style engine.

The problem might be the engine to Tranny. You'll need to research that swap. I know that you'll probably need a different flexplate, and a notched flywheel as the Magnum PCM will be looking for a crank position sensor signal. Or are you going to try to carb the Magnum?
