Raced my friend's J-body
This was actually my second J-body kill. The first one must have been an auto because my car was running ALOT slower at that time, and we were side by side until I shifted into second gear.
Anyways, I have a atx sohc base model Neon. Yeah, those are reeeeeeaaaaal fast... Anyways, my friend has a J-body with a 5 speed and he asks me yesterday if I wanted to race (Cuz we've been wanting to race for a long time now). So we went out to this straight stretch on a back road and lined up and his friend started us off. I got a little worried while in first gear because he got off the line better than I did, but then I reminded myself that I've got an auto and he's got a 5 speed and that I just had to wait for 2nd gear to come along. Well, sure enough, 2nd gear came and I went right back around him and won the race. He wasn't upset about it and was actually cool about it, which I like. I can't stand people that get upset when the lose a race, even if it is to a Neon [sm=badbadbad.gif]
