when i lived at home i drove it all the time, and when amanda and i went home this last time, we had it more than i had the RT, since my dad had just gotten a new gearbox and sachs clutch for it...it was niiiiice...525i...suspension work, new trans parts as metnioned, intake, M5 computer, mufflerless tuned exhaust...for a big car, it runs great...especially for a big car with 200,000 miles on it!

BMW=German=Autobahn=fast cars on the freeway. even the lowest models have top end. thats what there built for. the 325i's hit 140 np, there not drag cars. some are quicker than others but for the most part german cars are freeway monsters. look at the lil GTI turbos my not be quick on the street but they got top end. they all do.

that brings up a funny thought...amanda and i were headed to the bar last weekend in the 525...and we come up on a newer jetta TDI...with an AWFUL huge body kit..wing...eurotails.. everything...so the bimmer is VERY loud, so i get along side him and clutch it getting the Rs nice and high...a few times...amanda said she was watching for a reaction, but they appeared to be smoking a joint...so no bmw beatin for them...[:@]

That's why you need to find out what the PCM goes by to cut you off, does it go by the tach signal or from the speedo sensor or something else. Once you find what it uses as a reference to cut out on you, then you can go about eliminating it's connection so it has no reference in which to go by to cut you off.
