I just have to say one thing to you Mopar Performance. If you have to many options to put down on a poll. Make it a regular thread. Polls like this are worthless, yet you keep making them.

thats why i thought you meant tim richmond, plus you said he was dead, which richmond is...if you were say, 50 years old, i would have assumed you meant an older guy like flock... i wasnt talking smack... |

I mean Earnhardt and Petty both had 7 cups but they raced in ALMOST 2 different time periods...which one was harder??? Some say Earnhardt because all the cars are pretty much the same so it's who drives the best, some say Petty because you had to figure a way to get a better car because the other guys was better than yours...but in both instances they both had to know how to drive lol...I say Earnhardt :D |

the last driver of colour was named Willie T Ribbs AND he drove a dodge in the CTS for Petty Ent. he was also a regular on the Winston West Series, and was often in the field for the west coast nascar events. he is an older guy, and i am pretty sure that he retired. he usually made one or two nascar events a season, until (im guessing, i dont recall exactly) 2001ish

I'll always believe that Richie Evans was the best race driver ever. For those who have never heard of him, he was a NASCAR modified driver, in what is now known as the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. link to NASCAR modified page
Please read this small bio of Richie. Hall Of Fame link Though it is impossible to accurately compare different drivers from different eras, series, etc., I'd bet Richie would stack up just fine against anyone. |
