He would be running upper 12s. That would be 430+whp for a truck to get 12s. That is impressive Should have gotten video of this.

Jeep SRT-8 - A road test of the 2006 model by Road & Track magazine yielded a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.6 seconds and a quarter mile of 13.2 seconds at 104.1 mph.

It runs 12.0 to 12.2 pretty consistently. I havent run it since I did the cam, springs, bigger turbo, T4 manifold, and rods though

have any time slips?
I dont have any on this computer, but I can get a few and post them. I would think that being at 5,280+ feet in elevation doesnt help them out much. I have run quite a few sub 2 sec 60' times as well and have yet to lose to one. Like I mentioned before, Im not trying to be an a$$, I just wanted to post up a cool experience....

Last time I dynoed the truck over a year ago, it put down 636/1315. That was a 64 turbo, 90hp injectors and a single CP3 and just my TST box.

Yes, 636hp and 1,315 ft-lbs of torque. I know its quite a bit more now, just havent had a "successful" dyno visit since then....

It must have been a competely stock SRT-8. I've seen a bone stock SRT run low 13's. Also saw a lightly modded one run low 12's. Exhaust and intake. When an SRT-8 can spank an Evo VIII, that's when it's crazy. From a 60 mph pull I don't think the SRT would have a problem running with you. Hell in my lightly modded '04 Grand Am GT I could run with a heavily modded Powerstroke from about 50-70mph. Even LoudPedal can back up that statement, he rode with me a few times I did it.

1/4 mile times really don't mean squat rolling on the interstate. When that Cummins builds up boost and the smoke clears up, ***** about to go down, and that SRT-8 doesn't stand a chance from a roll.

It would be different at the strip. He'd jump you off the line (as quick as a modded Cummins can get going from a dig, it's still a diesel and doesn't rev quick enough, you don't want to screw with a 425hp Hemi being launched in 4wd.)

You'd quickly make the distance up and then some, and would probably outrun it if you really are making that kind of power, but towards the end of the strip he would be gaining on you fast.

Still, 1300 ft/lbs of torque is just sexy.

I've heard of having substantial amounts of torque compared to a lower HP rating, but not double...

Besides, if at a dig, he can launch in 4x4 and if really need be, spool up and launch under load.

No offense, but I have ran plenty of SRT-8's at the track. Im not trying to prove any point to anyone. I guess that I should have been a little more specific about what my rig has done to it, before I posted on here and started getting questioned by what seems to be, quite a few people. Its kind of cool to launch a 7,000+lb truck, at close to 30psi, and watch peoples jaws drop, including the folks in the quick AWD vehicles.... Remember that I dont just get take off, with no boost, everythime I launch. Im not taking anything from the SRT-8 Grand Cherokees, by any means, but at 5,280+ft of elevation, they don't run low 13's (stock) and from what I have witnessedm it takes quite a bit to get them into the 12's up here, with a good driver.... Sorry for the rant.

Well, if you havent, then you should look up what some of the more "tweaked" diesels are putting down for hp/trq. I have to launch in 4Hi, otherwise it just spins and spins. Even launching higher than 20-25psi sometimes, I have broke all four tires loose. You guys are more than welcome to ask Armyguy, he's a member on here as well.
