Can't wait to watch some racing again on TV. This years 500 should be pretty interesting with the newly paved track.

Hoping Earnhardt has a turn around season this year.

 

Yeah i'm already planning my alternate routes to get around all the traffic. I can hear the roar from the track from my house but haven't been able to afford tickets to be able to go so i just watch it on tv. I think the thing that amazes me the most is how dead town can be one day and filled with thousands of people the next then visa versa when its over. Same thing during bike week.

 

We used to go to the 500, but dad passed away in 04 and I just started going to the 400 in July. I believe the track repave will hurt the racing for the first couple years...especially for the 500 when it is a bit cooler and the track has more grip.

 

a repave makes it just like a new track everybody is going to have to relearn how to handle the track

 

Tickets can be pretty cheap in the bad seats...

I didn't really pay attention last year... with my driver leaving Dodge and others as well.

 

I pretty much watch all of speed week. The Gatorade Duals are pretty good.

 

The Camping World truck race is tomorrow night in Darlington.Should be pretty awesome
