I don't know what it is, but chevy truck guys hate this car.

I was on my way to work, with my wife, and 2 mtn. bikes. This butthole chevy truck is all over me since I was caught behind someone else.
Getting on the highway, this dork gets a run coming down the ramp. I see him coming and gun it. At about 85 MPH the Intrepid starts pulling away, then at 97 MPH it was all over when his speed limiter kicked in.

i cant speak for your engine, but mine has sweet spots were it just takes off. 25-30 is really nice for me, 60-65 is also nice. then i think around 90ish is my other sweet spot. ill find out for sure tomorrow.

 

The 3.2L pulls good through the entire range, the 2.7L may be a bit more peaky.

 

the 2.7L's low end is garbage. higher half isnt bad though
