Nextel launches eight new driver phone covers

Our friends at Nextel were back at it last weekend at Pocono Raceway announcing another unique product for the accessory-crazed fans of NASCAR. On August 1 they will add eight more choices to the already popular selection of driver phone covers for the Motorola i205 handset. To celebrate the launch, Nextel unveiled the phone covers and featured unique games and prizes for fans at The Nextel Experience in the Pocono midway.

The new drivers added to the roster are Joe Nemechek, Kasey Kahne, Jason Leffler, Greg Biffle, Jeremy Mayfield, Scott Wimmer - whose lovely wife by the way just gave birth to a beautiful baby boy - Elliott Sadler and Carl Edwards.

Nextel first began offering their special edition driver phones, the Motorola i736 and phone covers for the i205 in 2004, the inaugural year of the sponsorship. Those are still available while quantities last for Rusty Wallace, Mark Martin, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Michael Waltrip, Matt Kenseth, Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Jarret, and of course the 2004 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series"! Champion, Kurt Busch.
