I know that just about everyone that is going to read this has a modded car, or a sportscar of some sort that says I got power, speed or style, or all 3. or just about anything that makes their car stand out from the rest. So I am sure everyone will understand where I am coming from. I have a Crossfire which to just about everyone is something they have never heard of let alone seen before. So I am driving to a park to get some shots of my car and I'm on hwy31, when these two kids in a early 90's stock celica gt, do a lil ricer flyby and then has the ***** to cut me off. So now I'm pissed, I just spent two hours detailing my car and didn't feel like looking for a race, just out to enjoy the weather. Well, to my suprise this car didn't even have a fart can. So I said screw this, I'm going to hand them their A$$es. so I'm going around 50 in 6th gear and floor it (obviously nothing real exiting) I wanted to play with these retards first, then when I had enough, I threw it into 3rd and took off. Now i get up to 80 real quick and am already at least 5 cars ahead, and figured he learned his lesson so I drop down to 65 (10 over) and this idiot comes flying by me and flips me off. Y? Y? Y? Y? Y? cause he got his @$$ handed to him? Jealous? I cheated? I can't stand these lil ricers or stock Civics with fart cans that try to play around when they know its a waste. Needless to say I decided to be the bigger man and "walked"........ away at 100 mph+, sorry for long post but this happens all the time around here and it gets me pissed. Anyone else have similar incidents/problems?

 

Well I'm 38 and ricers used to really **** me off. But with the price of gas today, it isn't even worth the effort. If they want to drive their lawnmower like an *******, I just simply back-off.

Around here, every other honda, toyota, nissan, and cavalier looks ridiculous.

My advice, don't waste your time on 17 year olds with a 10 year old mentality.

 

Put them in their place man! A lot of us know what Crossfires are! Awesome vehicles!

 

ugh..the worst are the Audi and Mustang guys...with their "S4" badges...and cobra rims..

and where I live, there are so many crossfires, that Im not impressed when I see them anymore..

ViperGTS- I'm only 20 so I Still kind of fall in the "teenager" category, maybe thats y they wanted to try and show off. If the srt-4 looked as good as the crossfire, I would of went with that and still would of had $$$ to upgrade to a stage 3. And even though the crossfire only sits 1, thats alright cause when you pull up to group of girls and their checking out your car, you're only going to take the hottest one anyways right? And mopartodd, I have the mtx model, I couldn't justify paying more money for stuff i can live w/o like power seats since im the only one who drives my car ,no need to adjust the seat everytime, and I hate leather, plus i wanted the stick, not an auto. Where do u live badstrat? cause I live in Kenosha, wisconsin, where the chrysler plant is the largest employer for the city. and I have seen three other crossfire only, and the city is about 100k people right in between chicago and milwuakee. So for me seeing another is a rare thing.

 

i live very near the DC HQ...and i think that we have two of them in our immeadiate area,...i see so many on the street...i never saw ANY of them, except at work in pittsburgh

 

They are sweet handling cars. I'd have one if I had a spot for another car.
