Default Matt Kenseth wins the Sharpie 500 (Nextel Cup Series)

OK, comments on the Jarret/Newman contact? Earlier in the race, Newman unintentionally hit Jarret from the rear and spun him out. Then later Jarret purposely side swiped Newman and wrecked him and Newman did not finish the race. This knocked Newman back 2 spots to 8th in the Chase. With only 31 points separating him from 11th! I think Jarret's move was VERY stupid for a veteran to do. There is no excuse for what he did. It was dangerous and stupid. If he doesn't get fined or suspended for this, then NASCAR is retarded. Jarret declined an interview because he knows he was wrong.

The Race to the Chase was shaken up considerably when Dale Jarrett lost patience with Ryan Newman.

Up off the Matt
Just when most folks were counting Matt Kenseth out of the Chase for the Nextel Cup, the driver of the No. 17 Ford completely dominated the Sharpie 500 on Saturday night at Bristol, his first win since March of 2004.

Default RE: Matt Kenseth wins the Sharpie 500 (Nextel Cup Series)

Dude, that race was just fu*ked up![:@] I watch that race from beginning to end and I was disappointed, especially at Dale Jarrett. Both Newman and Wallace had a car to win IMO. Very disappointing finish I think![:@] Yeah, Wallace came home with a top five, but it's no win!!!
