What's ironic is it's virtually the exact same spot that I almost bought the farm about 2 years ago on my Kawa Z-1...an old lady made a left turn right in front of me at an intersection that I was approaching at about 80 mph. She finally saw me, stopped (oh no!), then backed up (time to change my underwear).

Nice job with the 350Z. I think they are 287 at the crank and they are RWD. Excellent

Lots of fun to spank a ricer or two. Got a chance to open up on the I-80a fter I got the truck today. I got all excited and blasted up the hill to American Canyon(gotta watch out for the CHIP'YS) Was being a freak and had many a vehicle getting small in the rearview. Except for the Hemi that decided to stick with me. There a few signs along this rought that say 70MPH, and a few that say 80. I think that most people believe the latter is the limit, so I played along and went my normal ten over. The Lexus IS330 in the fastlane did not like that fact, but just didnt have the juice to do anything about it.

I can believe it..the driver stayed almost even with me ( I beat him at the light change) up to about 115-20....then I started to slowly pull away...he fell in behind me due to the rough road in his lane and it was a race all the way to the main gate of Fort Sam Houston, thank goodness the gate guard was interested in SRT-4s!!![sm=smiley20.gif]

The 350Z's are also fairly heavy too.

The best runs I've seen of them is slower than the SRT-4's.

Did you read that Car and Driver magazine article that was posted??[sm=smiley20.gif] They got a stock 2004 SRT-4 doing a 5.3 0-60 time and a 13.9 quarter mile...can't wait for the Stage!!!

Yep, I got that issue right here before me. Judging by it's 0-60 time vs. it's 1/4 mile time, I'd say it isn't broke in yet and the max boost is being limited just like Amanda said. It should be turning mid 13's in the 1/4 after break in. A stock '03 runs 13.7-13.9 and an '03 with Stage 1 runs 13.0-13.2, then a stock '04 should run 13.4-13.6 since it has half of Stage 1.[sm=smiley23.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]
