Kahne holds off Biffle for thrilling win at Kansas

Kasey Kahne took the lead with 11 laps to go in Saturday's United Way 300 and held off a dominant Greg Biffle through a thrilling final lap to grab the checkered flag at Kansas Speedway.

Kasey drove the 6, while Crocker sat with the crew chief and soaked a lot in.

Wow! I'm surprised Kahne didn't send his car into the wall or DNF like he usually does! I would venture to say that he has cost Ray Evernham more money in wrecked Dodges this season than he has in winnings.

 

LOL I'm guessing you saw him put the 9 in the wall today at Bud Pole qualifying!

 

Whoa, I didn't even check the lineup until just now.. Doesn't surprise me though! Mayfield has more than made up for the #9 miscues this season.

Mayfield is due a win again soon and he always does well in KS!
