So I am out running errands today and a newer F-150 pulls up next to me at the light. Next thing I hear is him revving his engine at me. He must have got new duals or something, because even though it was a Ford, it actually sounded pretty good. So I just look over and laugh at him and figure I would entertain him for a bit. Light turns green and we go. I am barely accelerating and I am neck and neck with this guy. So we get to a point where two lanes merge to one, I roll down the window, wave to him and procedd to stomp on it. It looked like he was standing still. Stupid Ford owners, when will they learn.

RE: Why?
I USED to get a lot of F-150s who wanted to race but lately the pickings have been pretty slim. I did have some guy in a BMW SUV'ish looking thing try to run with me, he ended up like the F-150 owners. Maybe Santa will bring some new Fords to put to shame......
just don't run into an svt. the outcome may be a little different. For a truck and the price they can be had, they aren't that bad, and that it'll beat a good amount of cars on the road stock for stock
Hehe, great story. If I had a new f-150 (which I don't and don't ever want one, I hate fords) I wouldn't try to race anyone. The f-150 is the slowest half-ton there is.
