Sponsers: Bosch, Jack Link’s, Kodak, Lennox, Mazak, MeadWestvaco, PPG, Snap-On

News: Kurt Busch has signed to take over the ride in 2007 and was released in Nov 2005 from his 2006 Roush Racing contract to take over in 2006. Wallace has said he will NOT rethink his retirement!

#9 - Kasey Kahne - Dodge Dodge Dealers/UAW:

Sponsers: UAW, Stihl, Valvoline, Siemens, Mountian Dew, Stanley Tools, McDonald's

News: Crew Chief Tommy Baldwin Jr. leaves after Phoenix in 2005. Kenny Francis is the new "Team Director"! Kahne signed until 2010!

#10 - Scott Riggs - Valvoline/Stanley Tools:

News: Childers will move over with Riggs to Evernham. Stanley Tools will be the primary sponsor at Las Vegas, Texas (A), Talladega (A), Darlington, Michigan (A), Daytona (B), Indianapolis, New Hampshire (B), Charlotte (B) and Phoenix (B).[with 'B' being the 2nd race of the season at that track]. New paint scheme for the Valvoline car. Riggs officially named at Bristol in August. Crew chief to be announced at later date. The third Evernham Motorsports full-time team. Was the #91 team and takes 2005 owners points/race attempts to the 2006 season [first 5 races]. The #91 will now be a new Evernham team for R&D and Bill Elliott's 5-10- races if he returns in 2006.

News: Team Director [Crew Chief] moves over from the #91 team. Crew Chief Slugger Labbe parted ways with Evernham after Martinville in October 2005. Mayfield signed thru 2008.

News: Looks like Dave Blaney is the front runner for the Bill Davis ride, which will run Dodges for the 2006 season and is rumored to be moving to Toyota in 2007, when they come to Cup.

News: Ganassi will not expand to four teams and has let Jamie McMurray go to Roush, with Mears taking over the #42 car. So looks like the 4th car will remain as the R&D team and used for road courses with Scott Pruett driving.

News: Vandermoss comes over from the Kenseth Busch team. Stremme moves up from Busch and takes over for Sterling Marlin.

News: Mears will stay with Ganassi and go the #42 team. Sorenson runs the #41 in Cup and most of the Busch Series races in 2006. Sorenson's Busch crew chief Brian Pattie turned down the Cup job and will stay in the Busch Series.

News: Will run the #55. Waltrip brings NAPA over to Bill Davis Raving for 2006 and could end up with Toyota in 2007 if they come to Nextel Cup. DEI has announced they will keep the #15 and not let Waltrip take it.

I'm liking the new line up. Even though we are gonna lose some of them in the years to come.
