think about for a second about how much your car weighs. even with 480hp you raceing something much less than you and if he really had a stage 3 he's pushing 330. I don't think it was really a easy as you make it sound. Don't get me wrong I love the old cars but badstartRT has a point with 2003 vortech mach 1?

[sm=icon_blah.gif] this guy doesnt know a hell of a lot about anything to do with cars aside from that they have 4 wheels.

Here is something i found, and that suits this perticular case , enjoy!

This guy has a Mach 1. dude its a V-8... 11 sec car stock...
A stock SRT-4 couldn't match that you're right... But stage three, as this guys says... I don't know. But i don't know how this guy is so bold as to be bragging in a Dodge Forum!

KUDOS to the Mach 1 guy
Mach1's are good for 12.8-12.9 stock with a perfect driver. With boost, I'd say 11's. IDK anything about SRT-4's but I'm pretty sure it's no match for a S/C V8. Good kill Mach1, now get the f**k out and don't come back.

Wow, I haven't visited here in a while but it sure is funny!
A vortech mach 1?? This is too funny. My RR runs 11's and I don't have a supercharger.

i dont know, we have a vortech s/ced mach 1 here, and it DOES get its front end off the ground when he launched it and it runs low 11's here at 3600 feet, which is good for 10's at sea level

but i doubt the whole "stage 3 and i gave him a 4 car jump" altho, if they raced for a mile, he couldve caught and pulled him

so yeah i dunno, but im not throwing in the BS flag just yet, because ive ridden in the vortech mach 1 here and it is insane.....and scary lol

dunno if my post helps any, but just thought id add my 2 cents

I don't doubt the potential capability of a supercharged mach 1, just this kid spouting off about it and I doubt he has the proper suspension setup and weight transfer to get enough traction to yank the wheels.
It takes alot more than just a strong engine to pull the wheels in a nose heavy car.
Please, don't feed the trolls.
My friend had an 04 Cobra with a pulley and stock suspension and rubber and managed a whopping 13.26 @ 108 and that was with a 5 speed. Had he been a better driver, mid 12's would be possible and that's about it without further mods.
I am sure there are many mustang owners that have their stuff together, but this troll poster is not one of them.
I have seen plenty of very fast mustangs, so throwing around terms like "vortech mach 1" is funny after seeing both supercharged and nitrous mustangs run well into the 8's in the PSCA.
I have also seen 8 second Neons in the NHRA sports compact classes.
Anyway, this was an idiotic post.

Side note - I have seen 1.0 Geo metros haul around 4 of those fat women you posted.
How do they get that much power out of a 1.0?

This thread is total BS. Unless the Mustang is gutted there is no way your gonna pull the front wheels off the ground with that horsepower, especially without slicks. Where is your proof of any of this BS, especially the imaginary big block and anyone can get a Stage 3 emblem, so wheres your proof of anything your claiming? That's right, you cannot prove what never happened.
