Marlin tests at NHIS and others:
Hearing #40-Sterling Marlin tested at New Hampshire International Speedway on Monday, July 5th.(7-6-2004)
UPDATE: Nextel Cup and Busch Series drivers converged on NHIS to prepare for the New England 200 and 300, scheduled for July 24 and 25, but were forced off the track and into garages during the morning and afternoon. Scheduled to test are, Cup - #40-Marlin, #12-Ryan Newman, #8/15-Martin Truex Jr. and #19-Jermey Mayfield. Busch - Truex Jr., #11-Paul Menard, #5-Kyle Busch, #31-Todd Bodine and #?-Matt Kobyluck up from the Grand National, Busch North Series and make his first Busch start in the New England 200. Mother Nature surely didn’t cooperate with the test session as a steady rain forced many drivers to sit and wait. Those who didn’t get a chance to test will try again today. The teams expect to test today from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and the speedway’s main grandstand will be open free to spectators.(Foster's Democrat)(7-6-2004)
