Another Sad day in Nascar........
Benny Parsons who has been battling lung cancer has died today at age 65....

Yup, and the doctors said he was "cancer free" a few months ago..............

Eventhough he got on my nerves in the booth; he was a legend and deserves to be called one of the best in NASCAR history. So Long Benny!!!!

Unfortunately I didn't get to see him race but I will definately miss his booth commentary... Nothing better than listening to a real, classy old-school driver talking about the sport he helped grow into what it is today. BP, we will all miss you...

I was shocked to hear that. I never got to see him race but i enjoyed his commentary.
