Well for one I defend him Cause no one will run him. You all are scared to test out a neon. ITS ONLY A NEON!!!!!!!!!! Right? Plus he knows the difference between the turbos. If you havn't noticed he was playing around.

It's very simple, if one claims to have something they should have proof beyond someone else echoing what they said. I could get a dozen people to become members here and back up a lie if I wanted to, but pictures, video, timeslips, etc. are far better and more believeable than just claims. Well i got a question for you. I didnt kno the Sebring came with a 420a. I thought that came in the mitsubishi cars. Plus if you say you know cars then i have a nothe question. Why are u running 8.1 compression in your race car and not higher. Are you planning on going fored induction or something. Plus you say you can drive stick but why is your race car and auto. now if its a built auto for your car then i understand but if its not built just for the moor and that car and just has stronger gears in it then thats your lose. And one last question you can afford all these cars and all but why dont u slicks on your 12 sec car. Plus you got a 12 sec trailer car. He will out run u in a street car thats sad but you will never kno cuz you dont have the ***** to test him out
rtneon67, since you know nothing about engines, ill explain.
first of all, my white car has a built auto. manual valve body, 3500 stall. there was no manual option for a 1983 mirada, and the 833 transmission isnt exactly the ideal drag racing transmission. the 727 is pretty much bullit proof, and there is a huge aftermarket for it. im running low compression because when the motor went together when i was 15, i didnt have the money for high end pistons, so we bought whatever i could afford. its actually nice because im running low 12s with such low compression that i can run 87 octane. again, you dont know anything about engines so it wouldnt make sense to you, but you can obviously make lots of power without making up that youre running 10.5 to 1 with 30psi of boost and a hundred shot.
second, why would i run slicks when i dont need slicks? my car weighs 3700lbs and pulls 1.65 short times on DRs, footbraking. it gets very good traction with the DRs, and i cant expect much better out of it with the current setup.
third, this is where i think that youre both full of it. im from PA, and that is where my car is stored right now. in pennsylvania emissions laws are so strict that my white car wont pass emissions. the law reads, as soon as you change from the stock exhaust configuration, it is no longer eligible for emissions testing. the car is driven on the street quite a bit, just not legally, because it cant be emission tested. also, mocking someone because they trailer their car is kiddie crap. goto the track sometime...there are lots of fast cars on trailers. they probably all have proof of being fast as well. you said that youre from PA, and so is he, so the both of you should know about emissions laws...but then again, one would think that you two should know about engines, which you obviously dont.
next, i can drive a stick...the bmw and the turbo daytona are both sticks. again, go to the track...most of the fast cars are automatics...especially in bracket classes.
finally, the 420a came in lots of cars...some were mitsubishi and some were chrysler brands...but ill let you in on a little secret, but dont tell anyone...mitsubishi and chrysler corp have been building cars together for a few decades now...sharing engines and such.
honestly, i dont care what fullbuilt runs. if he lived down the street from me, he could be running in the 10s and id go to the track with him...its not like it matters if he beats me at the track...he should beat me with a neon with 20 grand in mods...but im not going to drive from the middle of michigan to *hope* that two kids with neons show up. he could have a top fuel dragster, and if he lived near by, i would run him...people like myself, who actually race, enjoy racing whether we win or lose...
we dont have any proof what so ever that the car exists, shy of the pictures of seom riced out sxt with rims...for christs sake, the decals look like a 5yo put them on...youd think that if he had an 11 second neon sxt, he would try to make it look nice by something as simple as putting the decals on straight.
so, you say that you saw this car and you know how fast it is...interesting, because ive seen alot of fast cars in my day, but i couldnt tell how fast they are by looking at a parked car. so im assuming that youve seen his car make a pass down the track, so you know exactly what he is capable of, right? youre SEEN his car run in the 11s...right? like i said, had he provided any proof of anything better than 14s, i would have given him props for an unusual build, but he cant provide any proof at all. my guess is that since he hasnt posted, he has been spending this time trying to find dyno sheets and/or timeslips to claim as his own...

I'm SURE that if your buddy was willing to show up where these guys are then they would be willing to race. Hell I'll race the guy in my basically stock D and probably beat him I've beaten other ricers in their little fart cannons. I'm sure I could run a 16 sec (if not in the 15's)1/4 and if push comes to shove I could always run over that joke of a car.So if he's willing to come to Reno then I'll meet him at Summit and we'll find a nice little straight to run on. Afterwards I'll let everyone know what this guy really has going on. But I doubt that will happen and you know why? Because I live in NV and he is somewhere on the east coast. Why should he burn up all that gas to prove something to me? I sure wouldn't be willing to do the same...
