raced a honda civiv hatch header AEM CAI exaust preformance egnition manaul raced from a 40mph role and left him then went two races heads up the first one i got him all the way (1/4 mile runs) the second one i gace him a car length head start and still got him at the very end. he said his car runs 15 seconds flat in the 1/4 mile so i think the ole 4.7 is puting a good name out for its self what do u guys think?

 

good kills but i think hes probably guessing that he will run 15 flats, because i dont think you would be able to beat him if he did. nothing against the 4.7s i have one and its a great motor, but its just not fast.

 

i dunno really he has been to the strip a few times but he could be blowing smoke up my pipe too but its still a good kill due to wieght advantage and the mods to his car i think. You also have to consider yours is a 4 door and do you ahve any mods at all too it?

 

yes the fact that yours is a 2 door does give you a big advantage. but then again yours is a 4x4 right? if so that adds some extra weight. i have exhaust and intake mods done to mine, but nothing special. and youre right, either way its a good kill considering the weight advantage he has on you and the number of mods he has done. is yours stock or have you done some mods to it?

 

CAI-Flowmaster dual exaust AIT(air intake tempature) sensor upgrade (nitro box) and preformance plugs is about it and its 2wd but thtats all i have done to it.

 

oh my bad, i thought you had a 4x4 because i read another post that was by you about youand some buddies goin muddin at like 2 am or something. pretty good mod list too. you oughtta take it to the track and see what it would run.

 

I don't know how to post messages or threads or whatever to start a topic but there is this Honda that has been sitting in spot since I moved here 6 months ago last night I looked up to see of all things to do the car there was little red light running up and down the door pillar frame like alarm was on I had to laugh my *** off cause of all things these people think of that as first priority on this car that hasn't ran in 6 or more months. yeah that when i had my dodge durango it was a 99 dodge durango 4x4 360 5.9 with no cats and straight off the manis was loud as **** and a CAI it ran pretty good too. and thanks for the comment my and my friend with the chevy i raced are planning on going once i get back home from work ill get a copy of the slip when i go and post on here.
