Default FSAE race car

I'm in school at the University of Ontario Institue of Technology in the automotive engineering program, and I figured, if I have to be in school for 4 or 5 years, I better take all I can from this damn place, seeing as how they take all my money.

So back in september i joined the Formula SAE team. We;re building an open wheel race car to compete in the FSAE meet. We were supposed to go to Detroit, however we missed the registration date, hooray for procrastination, so we signed up for the FSAE West competeition in California.

The basics of the car.
one off tube chasis
4 wheel independant suspension
Suzuki GSXR 600 engine
limited slip diff
modified drive ratio (chain driven with custom sprokets)
target running weight with driver 500lbs.

Take a look at www.uoitmotorsports.com

Gonna be time trials within the team in the coming weeks. I told them it was a waste of time because I'm the fastest driver, but they figured I'll give them a fighting chance and toss it up to a time trial.
