Has anyone had experience towing with the Eco Diesel? I have a 2011 1500 Ram with the 5.7 and pull a 6500 lbs camper. I keep looking at new trucks and the disappointing thing with the eco diesel is it's towing rating at just over 8000 lbs on a crew cab 4x4. Just curious if anyone has any experience since it looks like it makes a lot of torque. Thinking of switching to an Eco Boost F150 that can pull 12k!

 

I pull a 6500 lb travel trailer. no problems whats so ever. Much more fuel efficient than my 5.7 hemi.
