Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

try moving one of the wiper arms by hand. if they both move easily and together then the hardware linking the motor to them has failed. It has either slipped off or broken, You will need to remove the vented cowl at the front of the windshield to fix them.

Could be that one or more of the 4 plastic bushings are broken?

This reminded me of when I got my 85. Some genius thought it would be smart to weld the arm to the motor[sm=icon_beat.gif]. I wish I took a picture before I fixed it.

Thanks for your Info. it looks good mechanicallly but I need some voltage going to the motor where I can't see any at motor or control.

I forgot to ask this before, do you have the Intermitant operation option?

The wiper motor is a steper motor. there are 4 powerlines to it and the chassis has a ground strap attached to one of the mounting lugs. The controller is in the switch. The switch takes the battery feed and splits it out to lines A, B, P1 and P2 which goto the motor. My problem was both a bad ground and a faulty coil in the motor. it is easy to test the ground by clipping a booster cable between the wiper motor mount, and the negative battery pole.

If you still havent gotten this going, let me know.
