Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

I'm really dreaming here but I would love for a great response here and for somebody from Dodge to see it, I think the Power Wagon is great but I'm not a fan of the new Hemi. I would buy one despite my love for Chevys and my dislike of Dodge if they would give me the option of the Cummins. I have heard the same from many people so I just wanted to hear what ya'll think.

Where is the option to vote for the V10? I am okay with the 5.7L Hemi. I would not want the extra 1,000 pounds of the Cummins. Off-roading, not towing, is why I bought a Power Wagon. I would have been all over a 8.0L/8.1L V10 option. A 6.1L HEMI would not hurt either.

i would definitely do 6.1 over a v10... v10's are heavy as crap too... I'm personally not a huge fan of the v10's....

A smaller deisel would be great. Something in the 480lb-ft range would be excellent. A cummins of course , but with the lockers-anything more would break things. Remember, they make them idiotproof thesedays.

In comparing my truck to my friends power wagon the only thing preventing the cummins from fitting in the current model is. the inter cooler for the diesel and the winch share the same compartment behind the bumper. I am currently looking for a poser wagon that has be wrecked so that I can get the disconnecting sway bar for my cummins, and I am looking at using ARB locks both front and rear to be able to use the factory switch.
