Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

so im headed 2 college in the fall&im lookin around 4 a truck 2get so my nice dakota dosent get all beat up from all the lil bastards slamin doors into it. my uncle has a 85ramcharger that was bought 4 parts with a 360&a 727.the motor has 135k miles and has been sitting 4 5 years. i beleieve it was runnin ok when it was parked. he also has a 6" skyjacker lift and 4.56 geard axles off a rolld 89ish ram.what size tires can i run on this truck with this lift? and how many miles are these motors usually good 4? he also has several 440s waitin on rebulids that i can get a hold of 2 if the motor is bad.how much is all this worth?im shure he will give me a good price but i want 2 kno how much 2 offer him.i can give more specifics if needed

well my 1990 RC has over 200K on the original 318 and it's still runnin pretty decent, so i'd say you'd be ok on mileage for awhile....with a 6" lift you should be able to run 37.5" or a 38".....i paid $1500 for mine, which was an GA truck so it had no rust at all, great interior, everything works...so i'd say if it's in good shape and no rust prolly around $2000 or so maybe less

the body on the truck is almost perfect but the paint is faded but not cracked or oxidised. the interior is pretty well shot. the odomiter says 34k but idk how many times its been around...i was assumin 1.the lift is a skyjacker thats priced around $500. the lift is installed on the frame of another truck that is sitting around. the truck ran 28s but also had a body lift.the tires are bald but 38s mite fit?

yeah from what i've heard other people telling me and from what I've read, 37.5" will fit with a 6" lift so i dont see any reason why a 38" wouldnt fit lol...might want to wait for someone else to chime in before you take my word tho
