Looking at buying a 1988 RC 4x4...GAS MILAGE?????????
I'm looking at buying a 1988 Dodge Ramcharger 318 V8 Throttle Body 3spd Auto, 33x12.50 tires, stock suspension from what I can tell. It has 135k on it and needs paint badly also needs a passenger fender. He is asking $1500.
So I am selling my Dakota with the hopes that I can buy the RC and have some extra cash laying around for improvements. But the biggest thing I'm worried about is the Gas Milage as I am 18 and driving around 14 miles a day to school and work and back.
My Dad had an 89 on 31x10.50 but cant remember for sure what he got mpg wise.
I was hoping if someone could tell me what they get with theirs, better yet if you have a similar setup as this one has. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

i have a 86 with a 2bbl 318 and i get around 13mpg average oh and mine is on 33's just make sure you do not leave your hubs locked in cause then the milage gets cut into half
I'm gettting 16-18 mpg on my 79 with 35's highway and more like 13-15 around town. 33's give the optimal mileage, I'v run everything from 235's to 40's and 33's work best.
