Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default power steering leak

Ok well i've had a pretty slow power steering leak untill here recently. The other morning i went out and started the truck and it was pretty much as though i had manual steering...put some fluid in it, drove it about 5 miles and it's bone dry again....you guys know of any common issues with the steering box (common seals need to be replaced, etc...) basically i'm looking for a cheap & easy fix that will last me about a month so then that way i can add it to my list of other things needing to be fixed this summer....thanks for your input guys

Default RE: power steering leak

Well as of today 6/1 I just took my steering pump out and cleaned it up. On my it has the resevior on the pulley deal. I replaced the lines that were on it. They do have little rubber seals, in the "out". There are two lines on mine. I paid 24 something for the lines and some clamps at advance auto. The new steering pump is like 50 bucks. I know the the bottom plug leaks like a sieve even after I drained it. I believe that could the trouble because I believe thats the out line.
