318 Rebuild or Replace Engine
1983 Dodge Ram Charger 318. Engine lost power while driving. Pull over within 1 minute. Blew By-pass hose. Engine hot did not come on and there was collant in the radiator and at the pump. Replace hose. Engine will not start. I have white spartk at all spark plugs. Compresion test 117-125 all cylinders except #2 it is 80. Added oil and it stayed at 80. Is it a valve? Had a valve job @ 90K miles. engine has 327K miles. Can it be revalved or should I rebuild complete engine or buy a rebuilt from Standard Auto Engines 5 yr warranty unlimited miles? Do you know of an engine shop in Winston Salem, NC
