Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default 90 Ramcharger 5.9Ltr. crankshaft sensor

Can someone tell me the location of the crankshaft position sensor. I can't seem to locate it. The way I understand it is located on the back of the motor (passenger side)? can you maybe get me a little closer than that cause I couldn't find it. The reason I am trying to replace this is because I am not getting spark at the spark plug, however I am getting power and ground to the coil while the key is in the (ON/Run) position. I also seem to be getting ground at the coil with the key both (ON) AND (OFF). They way I understood it is that the ground to the coil is supplied providing there is signal from the crank sensor to the computer which controls the ASR. Am I replacing the correct part?

Now that I have fumbled my way through this disclosure, thanks for your help in advance.
