Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

It is possible that you may have bad alternator even if its new. Can you start the truck and pull the battery terminals off and still have the truck running? Is there ground wires or positive wires not hooked up?

Try running some tests on your alternator and regulator. I thinking you have a bad alternator. Try testing for power off of your alternator to see if its producing any power or if the circuit is open (ie. not connected)

Also, is the truck dieing with the battery low or is something else making the truck die?

**EDIT** I see just below this thread that you started a new one and found the problem, adding more grounds?
