Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default New to the family

Hello All:
I just picked up my first Dodge--its a(89 Ramcharger).
I found one that has a plow and its been very useful. I had often been a Ford F150 guy. I still own the 05 F150 4x4, but must say that the Ramcharger is a better snow truck. I also changed oil on both vehicles this AM in the cold Cleveland weather, and it was an easier job on the 5.2 Dodge, than the Ford.
I was surprised at how good the truck looked underneath, considering my last truck that I picked up for plowing was a K5 Blazer and it literally rusted apart in my driveway though it was a similar year to the Dodge.
My Dodge really is nice, with only a few issues(gas gauge and temp sensor dont work) I am waiting for my chiltons to arrive and look forward to findind out things about my new to me ramcharger.

Best,

Its time to paint the dodge now that warm weather is coming. Does anyone know where to locate seat parts for the interior? I plan on painting her blue and have been doing the body work for several weeks after work, I have a slight tranny pan leak, and my tailgate does not latch. Other than that, she doesnt need much..
