Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default 79 Power Wagon Brake Question

Hello everyone, I'm asking a question for a friend who has a 79 300D Power Wagon, power disk brakes. He's got 39" tall goodyear tires and was complaining about the lack of stopping power, and how much brake pressure it takes to get it stopped. Any ideas on how to fix this such as a different master cylinder with a different size bore? I had a 68 A-100 Van with goodyear wrangler 235-75-15 that had a similar problem. I swapped out the master cylinder to one with a different sized bore, and it worked awesome.
Thanks
