I am buying an 89 Ramcharger this week or next week and it needs an engine. It has a fuel injected 318 in it currently but it was overheated and I believe it has a blown head gasket. I would like to find another engine and just swap it out. I want to use the existing intake and if I have to I can change the oil pan. I read that the car pans are different than the truck pans. The problem is that I'm not sure which engines will be a direct swap without having to do any internal work, I'm not against putting a 360 in it but I don't know how much work is involved in that. Any help will be appreciated.
