91 Ramcharger LE..a little help.
Hello everyone.
I've been in the market for a older SUV and Ive had my heart and mind set on a 92-96 Bronco. However, Ive been looking at RCs a little. My dad had a 86 RC and Ive always been fond of them but for some reason the Bronco has been on the top of my wish list. Ive owned a 94 Bronco and liked it a lot.
I currently drive a 14 RAM 1500 R/T truck and all of a sudden I wouldn't mind staying with Mopar...weird isn't it?
So I just happened upon a pretty darn straight 91 RC LE with a 360, 6" lift and 35" tires. I don't know too much else about it. Its a very good deal and I'm tempted to snag it up this week.
From pictures, it looks like about a 7 out of 10.
What can you guys tell me about the 91 RC LE? pros-cons and things that I would need to address first?
Thanks!!!!!

I would look in the first gen forum, this forum isny very active and it rather pointless.
But overall they are good trucks. Ramchargers are badass too. Steering slop is a common issue but isnt typically a simple fix. The shaft coupling sucks and will go out. How many miles? I assume its auto?
That 360 will be the LA block.
first gens also have electrical issues. Pictures or a link will help with knowing if its a good deal. RCs are geting rare though, especially in good condition and a 90s one.

Did you mean IS a simple fix?
Get a Borgeson steering shaft. From the column to the box.
It may start another argument but whatever. Get a steering stabilizer. A double is better.
An aftermarket power steering cooler and aftermarket trans cooler also.
Make certain the ball joints, u-joints, tie rod ends, pitman arm, etc is good to new.
With a 6" lift he had to correct the steering.
Did he block the pitman arm?
Did he get a dropped arm?
Combination of the two?
How did he address the driveshaft angles?
Is it a full spring lift?
Or did he block the rear suspension?
6" block will cause some big spring wrap.
Is it a 3" suspension lift and 3" body lift?
If body lift, how did he address the engine fan and hoses, wiring, etc
