Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default Trailduster throttle and kickdown linkage

Hey guys, just registered here. I usually lurk on on RCC, but am looking for a little more help on getting the throttle and kickdown linkage on my trailduster set up correctly. My trailduster is a ‘79 but has an ‘85 dodge 360, 727, and NP208 in it. I’ve run into an issue when I swapped on an edelbrock 1906 in place of the Quadrajet. It seems the edelbrock is wider and none of the linkage is lined up like it should be, everything is probably an inch to the drivers side so the throttle and kickdown seem like they want to bind up and I don’t feel comfortable running it like that. I do have the edelbrock adapter #1481 for Chrysler throttles. Is there anyway I can make all this operate smoother without destroying or modifying my stock brackets?
