Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power WagonGrrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.
What kind of truck? If you want one for a pickup, I don't think it will fit.
I'm wanting to get rid of the saddle tank. It hangs too low and I can't run dual exhaust. I'm thinking the smaller RC tank would fit between the rear frame rails. Having a spare tire isn't an issue and moving the filler door to the rear quarter panel isn't a problem.

The tank for a Trailduster/Ramcharger is a pretty big fellow. I've got one in case I build another vehicle and it's about 40 gallons and is massive. If you can live with about a 20-24 gallon tank, get a rear tank for a late 80's/early 90's F-150. This will fit where your spare tire sits. My spare sits in the bed because the flowmaster 44's take too much room under my '96 short bed. A fuel tank would fit under there just fit if you measure closely. If your fabrication skills are up to it, you can cut a rear door and filler location from the donor truck. That might actually be pretty cool.
If you're wanting to run duals, my '96 has them and a 1984 W150 I had years ago had them too. The '96 Ram 1500 has the stock tank.

On my 78 Power Wagon(4X4 with a transfer case in the way) I ran duel exhaust from headers out the back. Don't see why you can't find a way around a gas tank.
