79 wont move

79 wont move

My 79 power wagon wont run. The motor will and everything else but to move it we had to detach the drive line so we could roll it what could be the problem?

Is it 2x4 or 4x4? If it's 2x4 and you took drive line off to move truck, then tranny is probably locked up. Also, is it manual or auto and how many gears if manual?
